EMBARK ON A TRADITIONAL SAILING BOAT

Founded in 1990 in Concarneau, Jean Burel is a family-run canning factory. From recipe preparation to packaging, the range is entirely handmade, and the ingredients used in each recipe are carefully selected by Jean Burel and come from Breton fisheries.

Enjoy a guided tour to chat with the team at the cannery, learn a host of anecdotes about the history of Concarneau's fishing port and discover the products used in the recipes, not forgetting a few trade secrets.

At the end of the visit, test the know-how and quality of the products by tasting an assortment of Jean Burel productsaccompanied by a bowl of cider.

In the afternoon, come aboard the "CorentinCruise the Bay of Concarneau and become a sailmaker for a day, just like in the 19th century. Take part in the manoeuvres in the company of the qualified professional crew and hoist the topsail on this magnificent authentic 3-masted lugger which won the Bateau d'Intérêt Patrimonial label.

Set course for the Pointe de Beg MeilTake advantage of the cruise to admire the magnificent setting: a rocky coast dominated by maritime pines, sandy coves and 19th-century semaphores. Snack on Breton "lichouseries" during the cruise.

We're not seduced by the idea that a message slipped into a bottle could travel thousands of kilometres, rocked by the waves, to reach an unknown recipient on the other side of the world... we're not romantic, we're not throwing a bottle into the sea!
