Follow the Painters' Route in Cornwall and discover an endless variety of landscapes that have inspired painters.

Day 1 - Quimper

Arrival in Quimper at the end of the day. Installation in your 3* hotel located on the periphery. Welcome drink. Dinner.

Day 2 - Concarneau - Quimper (70 km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel for a day of guiding.

Route to ConcarneauVisit the famous walled city and its port. Concarneau has attracted many painters from different backgrounds who formed the "Concarneau group".

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

Day 3 - Pont-Aven - Le Pouldu (120 km)

Breakfast. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel for a day of guiding.

Road to Clohars-Carnoët for a visite de la Maison-Musée GauguinThis is a reconstruction of the Buvette de la Plage run by Marie Henry, where Gauguin stayed from October 1889 to November 1890, during which time he did some of the decorations in the dining room.

Puis route vers Pont-Aven. Discovering the city of painters and mills The port, the mills, the Gloanec pension, the Trémalo chapel where the carved wooden Christ owes its fame to the painting by Gauguin "the yellow Christ"...

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

Early afternoon, continuation of the visit under the guidance of your guide. The Pont-Aven Museum unveils its new, completely renovated space. You will discover the work of artists inspired by Brittany and more particularly by Pont-Aven, from the 1860s to the 1970s.

Return to Quimper. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 - Locronan - Châteauneuf du Faou (120 km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel for a day of guiding.

Passage through Douarnenez qui fut en Basse Bretagne le premier port à s’affirmer comme place artistique. Puis direction Locronan and découverte de la charmante Small City of Character.

Lunch in a crêperie.

In the early afternoon, passage through Pleyben to discover its parish enclosure et route vers Châteauneuf du Faou. Visit of the municipal collection of works by the artist Paul Sérusier (to be confirmed) and passage through theSaint Julian's church to admire the walls of the baptistery decorated by Sérusier.

Return to Quimper at the end of the day. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 - Quimper

Return journey after breakfast.
