The Gauguin House-Museum is a historical reconstruction of the Buvette de la Plage.

►Sound creations and staging allow the atmosphere of 1890 to be relived.
In the autumn of 1889, Paul Gauguin, Meijer De Haan, Paul Sérusier and Charles Filiger moved to Le Pouldu, in the Beach bar held by Marie Henry. During the winter, these painters developed the precepts of synthetism and decorated the walls, ceiling, doors and windows of the dining room.
The history of Marie Henry's inn is told through a visitor's guide, digital tablets and painters' notebooks...

► In summer, guided tours, art workshops, guided walks and events are offered several times a week (ask at the reception desk)
► From 17 June to 16 September 2022, a guided walk "In the footsteps of Gauguin at Le Pouldu" is scheduled every Friday (duration: 2h)
► Starting from the Maison-Musée du Pouldu, "the painters' path" offers fifteen or so stops to find out more about the inspiration of the artists who came to paint Le Pouldu.
