HIKING IN CAP SIZUN

DAY 1 - Douarnenez Bay

Discover the bay of Douarnenez by following the GR 34, also known as "Le sentier des Douaniers. Accompanied by a local guide, you will leave for a 13 kilometre walk. On the programme, you will discover small coves and secret beaches while contemplating breathtaking landscapes. During the walk, your guide will lead you to the Keriolet valley, where you will visit with the miller a water mill. Then discover the Millier lighthouse which dominates the point of the same name. Picnic lunch with local and seasonal products during the walk.

DAY 2 - Pointe du Raz, Cap Sizun reserve

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the company of your guide, for whom the places have no more secrets, discover the Pointe du Raz, classified as a "Great Site of France".. During an 8-kilometre hike, discover the confidential places of the site and enjoy the peace and quiet of the place by discovering unique viewpoints opening onto the immensity of the ocean.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

In the afternoon, discover the Cap Sizun Reserve in the company of a member of the Bretagne Vivante association. Overlooking the Bay of Douarnenez, the reserve offers its visitors magnificent panoramas as well as exceptional flora and fauna. Your guide will share with you his knowledge of the environment of this protected natural area, and will help you to better understand the environmental issues of the region.

DAY 3 - Ile de Sein

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure for the Saint-Evette pier in Audierne. Meeting with your guide for a day trip to discover the island of Sein. During the crossing on board the shuttle, your guide will comment on the coastal landscapes including the Pointe du Raz which you will have the privilege of admiring from the sea. On arrival on the island, follow your guide towards the north coast where you can admire the Goulvenez lighthouse and the Saint Corentin chapel.

In the afternoon, return to the pier and cross back to Audierne.

DAY 4 - Pont-Croix, Goyen River

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meet your guide for a 14 kilometre day hike to discover Pont-Croix and the Goyen river. Departure in the direction of the small city of character of Pont-Croix by the left bank of the Goyen, the occasion to admire the oyster beds there as well as the fauna and flora of the place. On arrival in Pont-Croix, your guide will lead you through the cobbled streets to discover the church of Notre Dame de Roscudon and the Marquisat house, a 16th century noble residence.

Picnic lunch with local and seasonal products on the market place.

In the early afternoon, you will go to meet the roasters of the Savina coffee factory who will show you their activity and taste their coffee.
You will then reach Audierne by the right bank of the Goyen.
